Government fee payment

The government fee is $21 and is paid online when submitting the application. Of this amount, $4 is an administrative fee and $17 is a travel security fee.

Receiving approval

In most cases approval is received within 72 hours. In some situations processing may take up to 30 days. We recommend applying at least 72 hours before departure.

STEP 5

Entry to the USA

ESTA is electronically linked to your passport — there is no need to print a separate document. At the border you simply present the passport used for the ESTA application.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

No. Ukraine and Belarus are not part of the VWP program. Citizens of these countries must apply for a full B1/B2 visa regardless of their country of residence.
