RESULTS WE ARE PROUD OF

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING

01

Do I need a separate UK business visa or is a tourist visa enough?

Formally, both are issued as a Standard Visitor Visa. The difference is in the documents and justification of the trip purpose. For business travel, the key document is an invitation from a British company and proof of the business purpose of the visit.
02

Do I need a visa if I already have a Schengen visa?

Yes. After Brexit, the UK left the Schengen Agreement. A Schengen visa is not valid for entry into the UK — a separate British visa is required.
03

What should be included in the invitation letter from a British company?

Company name and address, name and position of the inviter, purpose and meeting dates, nature of business relations, and confirmation of who covers the travel expenses.
04

Is an invitation from a British company mandatory?

Not mandatory, but highly recommended. Without it, you need to strongly justify the business purpose through other documents such as contracts, correspondence, or conference programs.
05

Do I need a letter from my employer?

Yes. A letter from your employer confirms that the trip is work-related, that you are an active employee, and that you plan to return after the business trip.
06

Can a sole proprietor or business owner get a business visa?

Yes. Entrepreneurs and freelancers travel for negotiations and exhibitions — this fully matches the Standard Visitor Visa category. It is important to document your business activity and the purpose of the trip.
07

Can I work in the UK with a business visa?

No. The visa allows business meetings, negotiations, and conferences, but not employment or receiving a salary from a British company. Violations may lead to deportation and an entry ban.
08

Do I need to visit the embassy in person?

No. You only need to attend the VFS visa center for biometrics — it takes 15–20 minutes. No interview is required.
09

How much does a UK business visa cost?

Visa fees: 6 months — £115, 2 years — £432, 5 years — £670, 10 years — £963. If applying outside your country of citizenship, an additional €96 biometric fee applies.
10

How long is a business visa issued for?

The embassy may issue a visa for 6 months, 2 years, 5 years, or 10 years with multiple entries. The exact validity period is determined by the embassy.
11

How long does the process take?

Case preparation with us takes from 2 to 14 days. Embassy processing takes up to 3 weeks. Priority processing is available within 5 working days for an additional fee.
12

How is the visa issued?

The electronic visa (eVisa) is sent by email. Your passport is not kept during the application process. At the border, it is enough to present the electronic document.
13

Can I combine business and tourism purposes in one trip?

Yes. The Standard Visitor Visa allows combining business meetings with tourism within the same trip.
14

What are the main reasons for business visa refusals?

Lack of a clear business purpose, weak or missing invitation from the British side, insufficient financial documents, contradictions between the trip purpose and applicant profile, or weak ties to the country of residence.
15

What should I do if I already received a business visa refusal?

A refusal is not the end. We identify the reason, fix weak points, and build a new strategy. We specialize in repeat applications after refusals.
16

Do I need to buy tickets and book a hotel before applying?

There is no need to buy tickets in advance — unpaid reservations are enough. A hotel reservation is required. We do not recommend paying before visa approval.
17

Does a residence permit improve my chances?

Yes, significantly. A residence permit and PESEL UKR confirm your legal status in Poland and strongly strengthen the application.
18

Does the size and reputation of my company matter?

Yes. Employees of large international companies usually raise fewer questions. Small businesses can compensate with strong documents and a clear business purpose.
19

Is previous travel history taken into account?

Yes. Trips to EU countries, the USA, and Canada are a strong positive signal. They confirm that you complied with visa rules and returned home.
20

Can I apply without knowing English?

Yes. We handle all technical stages, including completing the application form in English — you only need to attend biometrics.
