An Australian visa application is submitted through the official ImmiAccount system. We create the account, choose the correct visa type (Visitor Visa subclass 600), and start the application.

STEP 3

Completing the online application

We complete the online application in ImmiAccount. Every field is checked twice — an error in the form may lead to delays or refusal.

The visa fee is paid online when the application is submitted. It is non-refundable in case of refusal. We help complete the payment correctly through the official system.

STEP 5

RESULTS WE ARE PROUD OF

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING

01

Do Ukrainian and Belarusian citizens need a visa to Australia?

Yes. Citizens of Ukraine and Belarus must obtain a visa to enter Australia. There is no visa-free regime.
02

Can I apply for an Australian visa while staying in Poland?

Yes. The application is submitted fully online through ImmiAccount. You do not need to visit the embassy — we handle all technical stages.
03

Do I need to visit the Australian Embassy in person?

No. An Australian visa is processed fully online. A personal embassy visit is not required. In some cases, biometrics may be requested — we clarify this individually.
04

How is an Australian visa issued?

The visa is sent electronically to your email. You do not need to send your passport anywhere — the visa is linked to it electronically. Print the confirmation and show it when boarding.
05

Is a hotel booking required for an Australian visa?

Yes. Proof of accommodation for the entire trip is recommended. We help prepare reservations correctly without payment.
06

How much does a tourist visa to Australia cost?

The visa fee is about AUD $185 (≈ €115). Our services start from 300 EUR per person. Government fees are non-refundable in case of refusal.
07

How long does it take to obtain an Australian visa?

Case preparation with us takes from 5 to 14 days. Department processing takes from 2 to 8 weeks. We recommend applying in advance.
08

How long is a tourist visa to Australia valid?

Up to 12 months from the date of issue with multiple entries. You can stay up to 3 months per entry.
09

How long can I stay in Australia per entry?

Up to 3 months per entry. During the visa validity period, you can enter several times.
10

Can I work in Australia with a tourist visa?

No. A tourist visa (subclass 600) does not allow any paid work. Violations may result in deportation and an entry ban.
11

Is medical insurance required for an Australian visa?

It is not formally required for the visa, but it is strongly recommended because medical services in Australia are very expensive for foreigners.
12

How much money should I have in my bank account?

There is no fixed minimum amount. A general recommendation is between $3,000 and $5,000 per person depending on the trip duration. A stable account history for the last 3–6 months is important.
13

Do I need to buy flight tickets before receiving the visa?

No. Fully purchased tickets are not required — a reservation without payment is enough. We do not recommend paying before the visa is issued.
14

What are the main reasons for Australian visa refusal?

Weak financial documents, no convincing travel purpose, weak ties to the country of residence, previous visa violations, or an incomplete document package.
15

What should I do if I have already been refused an Australian visa?

We identify the reason and develop a new strategy. We specialize in reapplications, and a free reapplication is included in our service.
16

Does a Polish residence card or PESEL UKR improve my chances?

Yes, significantly. A residence card and PESEL UKR confirm your legal status in Poland and are considered a strong advantage. Applicants with a residence card generally have much higher approval chances.
17

Does having a US or UK visa help when applying for an Australian visa?

Yes. Previous visas to the USA, the United Kingdom, or Canada are a strong advantage. They show that you complied with visa rules.
18

Can I visit all Australian states with one visa?

Yes. A tourist visa allows you to travel freely across the entire territory of Australia without restrictions.
19

Is previous travel history considered when applying?

Yes. Travel history to the USA, the United Kingdom, and EU countries is a strong positive signal. It shows that you complied with visa rules and returned home.
20

Can I apply for an Australian visa without knowing English?

Yes. The application is completed in English, but we handle all technical stages. English knowledge is not required to obtain the visa.

So many things in Australia are different from what we're used to: when it's winter in Europe, it's summer there, cars drive on the left side of the road, and kangaroos, familiar from documentaries, can be found not only in zoos. Add to this the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, the ocean coastline, and the vast expanses between cities, and the desire to see everything with your own eyes becomes understandable.

But a single itinerary and a ticket to the other side of the world aren't enough. A tourist visa to Australia is required for travel unless the applicant's passport allows for an eVisitor or ETA. For most citizens of Ukraine, Georgia, and the CIS, this applies to the Visitor visa subclass 600 Tourist Stream. Visa Agency helps gather the necessary documents and present the applicant's trip so that their plans, finances, and circumstances are clearly presented.

What is an Australian tourist visa and who is it suitable for?

A Tourist Stream visa is needed when a trip remains just that, a trip. You can spend a few days in Sydney, then head to the ocean, take a cruise, or stay with family and friends for part of your vacation. In the Australian system, all of this fits into the Visitor visa subclass 600 Tourist stream.

Working in Australia is not permitted with this visa. However, short courses or studies lasting up to three months are permitted, as long as studying is not the primary reason for your visit. Therefore, the Tourist stream is suitable for vacations and personal trips where you are visiting temporarily and do not intend to transfer your work or studies to Australia.

Who can apply for a tourist visa to Australia?

Here, they look first at your passport and then at your country of residence. For example, a Ukrainian with a Polish residence permit does not have access to eVisitor simply because they have lived in the EU for several years. For Ukrainian, Georgian, and CIS passports, tourist travel is typically processed through a Visitor visa subclass 600.

The situation may be different for European citizenship. Holders of passports from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, and other countries on the official list can use eVisitor 651, so they generally don't need subclass 600 for regular vacations.

The Tourist Stream itself is not tied to profession, age, or marital status. Applicants can be employed, entrepreneurs, students, retirees, or children. For Home Affairs, it's more important that the trip is truly temporary and meets the Visitor visa requirements.

What documents are needed for a tourist visa to Australia?

There is no one-size-fits-all set of documents for the Tourist Stream. Employees will need proof of employment and vacation, entrepreneurs will need proof of an active business, and students will need proof of study. However, the basic application form remains the same:

  1. A copy of the page of your passport containing your photo, personal information, and expiration date;
  2. Documents on your work, business, or study;
  3. An approximate itinerary for Australia, including the dates and places you intend to visit;
  4. A residence permit, visa, or other document proving legal residence, if you live in a country other than your country of citizenship;
  5. A bank statement showing funds sufficient to cover the cost of travel and a statement of your account balance for the past 90 days;
  6. Evidence of the circumstances to which the applicant will return after your leave: work, study, family, housing, or other property;
  7. For a child under 18, a birth certificate and the consent of a parent or guardian, if applicable. Required.

Financial documents and the invitation depend on the specific trip, so it's best to review them separately. All documents not in English must be uploaded along with a translation.

Do I need an invitation for a tourist visa?

If the itinerary is built around hotels, excursions, and travel within the country, an invitation is not required at all. For Tourist Stream, it is sufficient to demonstrate that the trip is truly tourist-related and the applicant has a clear plan for their stay in Australia.

A letter from the host is issued when a person will be spending part of their vacation with a relative or friend. It typically states who is inviting the applicant, their relationship, the planned duration of the visit, and whether the guest will be staying at the inviting party's address. If the same person pays for accommodation or other expenses, proof of their finances is included with the letter.

This invitation remains proof of travel, not a separate basis for issuing a visa.

How to apply for a tourist visa to Australia

For Tourist Stream, the entire process is completed online through ImmiAccount, so the country of residence does not change the application procedure. In your account, you complete the application form, attach documents, and pay the fee.

After submission, Home Affairs may request additional documents, biometrics, or a medical examination. These requirements are sent separately, and further actions are carried out according to the agency's instructions, taking into account the applicant's country of residence.

If the visa is approved, the decision will be sent electronically. It's linked to your passport details, so you don't need to submit it to the embassy for affixing.

How to prove the purpose of a tourist trip

The visa doesn't require a detailed vacation itinerary, but the itinerary must be plausible. If the applicant plans to spend three weeks between Sydney, Melbourne, and the coast, these dates must be consistent with work leave, proposed accommodations, and the travel budget. For an organized tour, a tour operator's itinerary will be useful; for independent travel, a clear itinerary with key stops is sufficient.

Home Affairs also considers what happens after the vacation. A permanent job, an existing business, studies, family, or other commitments outside Australia help demonstrate that the tourist does not intend to remain in the country. The longer the trip and the more complex the itinerary, the more important it is that its duration can be clearly explained.

What financial documents are required

For Australia, it's not the ""pretty sum"" that matters; The account balance itself is not the only factor, but the ability to pay for the trip without any unknown amounts appearing before the application. Therefore, a bank statement should show not only the balance but also the normal flow of funds. Home Affairs directly provides statements for the last three months, payslips, tax documents, deposits, and other evidence of available funds.

The amount depends on the trip itself. Two weeks in one city and a month with flights around the country will require different budgets, so there is no official minimum. If someone else is covering part of the expenses, this must also be supported by their financial documents.

How long does it take to process an Australian tourist visa?

There is no exact timeframe for Tourist Stream. Home Affairs only shows statistics for recently processed applications, and this figure fluctuates with the system load. Therefore, the Visa Processing Time Guide should not be taken as a guaranteed date for a decision.

Delays are often caused not by the visa category itself, but by specific issues such as incomplete applications, additional checks, medical examinations, or seasonal influx of applications. Australian missions recommend applying early and not paying for non-refundable tickets or other expenses until receipt.

Tourist Visa Processing Cost

The government fee for a Visitor visa subclass 600 Tourist stream, when applied for outside Australia, is AUD 250 per applicant. If a family is traveling together, a separate application and fee are required for each person.

Other costs may be added to this amount. Home Affairs specifically warns of potential fees for medical examinations, a certificate of good conduct, and biometrics, if these are required for a specific case.

Documents not in English will also require translation. If biometrics are accepted through a visa application center, an additional service fee is payable.

Why an Australian tourist visa may be refused

Home Affairs must ensure that the applicant is traveling temporarily, can afford the trip, and will comply with the visa conditions. The risk of refusal is higher if:

  • The itinerary does not match the length of the trip or the stated budget;
  • Documents about work, study, business, or family do not clearly demonstrate the reasons for returning after vacation;
  • Funds are insufficient, or large inflows before submission are not explained;
  • The application form does not match the itinerary, reservations, and other documents;
  • The applicant has previously violated the conditions of Australian visas;
  • Health or integrity requirements are not met;
  • Home Affairs requested additional information, but the applicant did not provide it.

An incomplete application package can also lead to refusal: a decision may be made based on the materials already submitted. To mitigate these risks, Visa Agency undertakes:

  1. Selecting the appropriate visa option based on your passport and purpose of travel;
  2. Creating an ImmiAccount and completing the application;
  3. Preparing a customized list of documents;
  4. Verifying your finances, employment, study, or business;
  5. Assistance with itinerary and travel confirmations;
  6. Preparing translations and files for upload;
  7. Uploading documents and final verification of the application;
  8. Providing support for additional Home Affairs inquiries;
  9. Reviewing the refusal and preparing a re-submission, if necessary.

In any case, the final decision rests with Home Affairs. Our goal is to eliminate any discrepancies in advance and assemble a clear case without weak points to reduce the risk of refusal to zero. Submit a request, and we'll see what we can do to ensure your trip to Australia isn't preceded by nine circles of bureaucratic hell!
